From a bill of materials to the bigger picture. Bring your parts, product structures and evidence together in one clear workspace.
Built for the people behind the product.
PRODUCT STRUCTURE / REV A
Keep the source attached to the detail.
LESS SEARCHING. MORE UNDERSTANDING.
Your product information should be easy to follow, from the assembly down to the individual component and the document behind it.
Import a CSV or Excel bill of materials. Map your columns, check the preview and approve the product structure.
Keep manufacturer part numbers, source documents and evidence claims alongside the components they describe.
Calculate build requirements, review revisions with your team and export the structure with its supporting evidence.
CONTEXT YOU CAN COME BACK TO
A part number is useful. A part number connected to a source, a revision and a review is something your team can work with.
ChainMap keeps recorded facts, inferences and unanswered questions distinct, so a gap in the evidence stays visible.
Illustrative record. Missing information remains unknown.
ONE WORKSPACE. ONE MONTHLY PLAN.
ChainMap brings your product structure and its supporting records into a shared organisation workspace.

A FEW USEFUL DETAILS
Start with a CSV or Excel bill of materials. Map your source columns to parts, descriptions, manufacturer part numbers, parent relationships, quantities and revisions. Review the import before approving it.
ChainMap records, searches and exports manufacturer part numbers supplied in your BOM. It does not currently retrieve external manufacturer specifications, stock availability or country-of-origin data. Missing values remain unknown.
Onboarding is currently by invitation. Use your invited email address to create and verify an account, then accept your workspace invitation. Owners manage membership and roles from the account page.
You can cancel renewal through the customer portal. Editing access continues until the end of the paid period. Current workspace members can still read and export existing evidence when paid editing access ends.
